Our new system
To support our leaders and streamline the group, we have embarked on a new member system using OSM. This system is widely used throughout the country with many groups.
Over the next few months, and by September 2025, we will have transferred everything over to it. You (as the parent/guardian) will have your own log in where you will be able to update records for your child, pay for camps and other items, and received communication from us.
For setting up payment support- click here
We are on the journey and currently getting everyone logged in and making sure details are correct and making sure if you can gift aid you have ticked to say you can.
As part of our continued drive to ensure everyone can participate to the best of their ability we are updating records and may ask you to complete a "medical action plan" if needed. Please click below to download a copy, complete it and upload to the care plan section of the details part. If you have any questions email FOA of Matt to eastboldonscouts@gmail.com .
Support the Group
If you are a parent of a member and would like to offer further support to the group, there are some great ways you can help.
Become a leader/helper:-
If you can give up a couple of hours a week and you are interested in joining scouting and becoming an adult leader/helper as part of a successful team.
Demonstrate a skill:-
If you have a particular skill which we could use within the group whether you can juggle and help us with circus skills badge or you can show scouts how to service a car, we'd like your help.
Fundraising:-
We’re always looking for new ways to fundraise, so if you have a great idea, please let us know.
Parent's Committee:-
Become a member of the group executive and help in the management of the group assets, leader recruitment and administration of the group.
For any information on the above, contact via email.
