Welcome to East Boldon Scout Group
The 28th South Shields (4th East Boldon) Scout Group, which locally is known as 'East Boldon Scout Group', has been operating in East Boldon since 1943.
The group now has over 100 young people with ages ranging from 6 to 18.
What we do
East Boldon Scout Group (28th South Shields, 4th East Boldon) provides adventure for young people aged 6 to 18 in Boldon and the surrounding area. With an active beaver colony, cub pack, scout troop and an explorer unit, the membership of the group is over 100 including our team of adult volunteers.
The group is managed by an active trustee board who work behind the scenes to grow the adventure for members. Members of the group are easily recognisable by loving every moment of their adventures.

What do we do?
Week to week we run sessions from the Hut (behind Grey Horse Pub, East Boldon) and venture out in our minibuses to provide a huge range of activities. In addition we actively encourage as many members as possible to come on our residential trips and camps to experiences a broad range of other activities all around the country.
